- The in-school mask mandate for staff and students in The School District of Philadelphia will end on Wednesday, according to city health officials. Starting on Wednesday, masks will be optional for all staff and students. They will implement a temporary mask mandate the week after spring break, from Apr. 18 to Apr. 22. (CBS Philly)
- Philadelphia Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw announced that the officer who shot and killed a 12-year-old boy last week will be fired. The officer will serve a 30-day suspension before being terminated. Their identity is being withheld for their safety. (Philadelphia Patch)
- A woman shot and killed her boyfriend outside of a suburban Philadelphia Wendy's on Monday night after a domestic dispute. The incident occurred outside of the Wendy's at Huntingdon Valley Shopping Center on Huntingdon Pike. The man was taken to a local hospital where he died from his injuries. (Daily Voice)
