  1. Philadelphia residents returning to the office could soon receive commuter benefits through the workplace using pre-tax income. On Thursday, City Councilmember Helen Gym introduced a bill that would expand SEPTA ridership and reduce costs for workers. If passed, the bill would require any employer with 50 or more workers to allow employees to use their pre-tax income to cover commuting costs. (PhillyVoice.com)
  2. After a two-year absence, Philly's South Street Spring Festival will return on Saturday, May 7. From 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. the South Street Headhouse District will feature outdoor dining and drinks from local eateries and food trucks, as well as live entertainment and free giveaways.   3. Four juveniles were arrested after being accused of crashing a stolen car into a North Philadelphia T-Mobile store. According to authorities, the owner of a stolen Honda Accord had located the vehicle and began following it. The Accord managed to get away before crashing into the front of the T-Mobile store on 700 East Hunting Park Avenue. Four juveniles were taken into custody shortly after the incident; two store employees were injured by broken glass. (FOX 29 Philadelphia)
