A man is recovering after being shot at the Cinemark on the University of Pennsylvania's campus Tuesday night, according to reports.

PHILADELPHIA — A man was shot in a bustling area of West Philadelphia Tuesday night, according to reports.

According to Action News, the shooting happened at about 10 p.m. outside the Cinemark movie theater at 40th and Walnut streets.

The man was shot in his arm, NBC10 reports.

Officials said the victim was not affiliated with Penn and in reportedly in stable condition.

The gunman is believed to have been in a silver Ford Taurus.
