Vehicle Chase From NJ Into Philly Ends With Arrest
PA State Police took up a stolen vehicle pursuit in Philadelphia after the driver fled police in New Jersey and struck a patrol vehicle.
PHILADELPHIA — Authorities took a 23-year-old man into custody after crashing a stolen truck the man was driving on Spring Garden Street in Philadelphia Tuesday afternoon, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
The incident began at about 12:23 p.m. when state troopers in Philadelphia were alerted by New Jersey State Police of a stolen Dodge Ram that fled authorities in New Jersey.
Police said as the truck fled New Jersey authorities, it struck a patrol vehicle.

Pennsylvania State Police Troopers found the truck on North Delaware Avenue around Frankford Avenue and tried to initiate a traffic stop.
The truck sped off heading south on North Delaware Avenue, leading troopers on a chase.

Troopers chased the truck onto Spring Garden Street where they conducted a Precision Immobilization Technique maneuver on the truck, bringing the chase to an end between North Third and North Fourth streets, near North Orianna Street.
The driver, David Navarette, 23, was taken into custody without incident.
Police said Navarette was in possession of a firearm and was found to have active warrants out of New Jersey for various firearms and resisting arrest charges.
Court documents in Pennsylvania were not immediately available for Navarette.
