Main Line Woman Charged After Driving Into Eagles Fans: Police
As Eagles fans took to the streets Sunday night after the Birds secured their Super Bowl LIX bid, a vehicle struck a group of celebrators.

PHILADELPHIA — Multiple people were hurt and a Main Line woman charged after police said she drove into a crowd of Philadelphia Eagles fans celebrating the NFC Championship victory Sunday night.
The incident occurred at about 9:31 p.m. at 1400 Spring Garden St., Philadelphia Police said.
A silver 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA250 struck multiple pedestrians at that time in that area before being stopped by police.

Eight people sustained various injuries, ranging from pain to fractures, police said.
The driver, Rebekah DeShields, 26, of Narberth, was taken into custody.

She is charged with aggravated assault, driving without a license, simple assault, reckless driving, and related offenses.
Court documents for DeShields were not immediately available.
