- Vice President Kamala Harris visited Philadelphia on Tuesday. The event took place at the Sheet Metal Workers Local 19 Training Center, located in South Philadelphia. Each speaker at the event, including the Vice President, spoke about the importance of unions and organized labor in modern workplaces. (Philadelphia Sunday Sun)
- One of Philly's most wanted criminals is now behind bars. Juan Rivera, 36, was wanted for a homicide that took place in September 2021. He was apparently hiding out in Saint Clair, PA. Rivera is currently awaiting extradition to Philadelphia for further proceedings. (Skook News)
- At least five are dead and more than 12 are injured after a deadly 15-hour span of shootings. The violence appears to be part of a crime surge across the city. Officials, including Mayor Jim Kenney and Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw made public statements asking for support from the public in delivering information on the shootings to authorities.
