The War On Drugs Playing 3 Shows To Benefit School District Of Philadelphia Fund

PHILADELPHIA — One of Philadelphia's most beloved rock and roll groups is once again hosting a three-night event to benefit the Fund for the School District of Philadelphia.

"A Drugcember To Remember" will take place Dec. 18, Dec. 19, and Dec. 20 at Johnny Brenda's in Philadelphia, featuring local Grammy Award-winning darlings The War on Drugs. Each show is scheduled to begin at 8:30 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m. for each show.

Tickets for the shows go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday online here.

Proceeds will support the Fund for the School District of Philadelphia, a nonprofit that raises and coordinates investments into the Philadelphia public schools.

This year's "A Drugcember To Remember" marks the event's return after a two-year hiatus.

"A Drugcember To Remember" started in 2018.
