Does Taylor Swift 'Have The Fandom?' Her Boyfriend Says No. But Pictures Say Yes

PHILADELPHIA — With the Philadelphia Eagles up against the Kansas City Chiefs in a rematch of Super Bowl LVII happening Sunday in New Orleans, many people are wondering: is Taylor Swift a Birds fan? Was she ever a Birds fan?

Chiefs tight end and Swift's boyfriend Travis Kelce says the answer to that question is for the most part no. During the media frenzy ahead of Super Bowl LIX, Kelce was asked if Swift was ever an Eagles fan.

"I don't know her to have the fandom," Kelce said, referring to Swift rooting for the Birds. "I know her father has the Philadelphia fandom as an Eagles fan."

But, skeptics are not so sure her boyfriend is telling the truth.

One, the aforementioned Eagles fandom of her father Scott Swift, who was born just outside of Philadelphia in Bryn Mawr.

A few other aspects that could clue into which NFL team she supports are the fact she was born in Reading, went to high school is Wyomissing, and has been photographed wearing Eagles gear.

The Daily Mail in 2023 published footage of Swift entering a New York City recording studio outfitted in Eagles merchandise.

In the footage, the pop superstar is rocking a gray Eagles crew neck sweatshirt. While the hat she wore wasn't an Eagles hat, it closely matched the team's color scheme.

With all that being said, Swift is not expected to be rooting for the Eagles during the game, as she has been a proud supporter of Kelce's efforts on the field. She has fostered a relationship with Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
