A 20-year-old woman was hurt by glass after her vehicle was struck by gunfire early Thursday morning in Philadelphia, according to reports.

PHILADELPHIA — A woman was hurt when her vehicle was struck by gunfire in Philadelphia early Thursday morning.

The incident happened at about 1 a.m. at the 51st Street and Greenway Avenue, according to Action News.

Fox 29 reports the victim, a 20-year-old woman, was on her way to see family when she was caught in a drive-by shooting.

Police were called to the 1300 block of Paxton Street, where they found the woman with from injuries suffered from broken glass after her vehicle was hit by gunfire, according to NBC10.
