Young Girl Critical After Philadelphia Hit-And-Run: Reports
A 12-year-old girl is in critical condition after she was struck while riding a scooter by a vehicle that drove off Saturday night.
PHILADELPHIA — A hit-and-run crash in Philadelphia has left a young girl in critical condition, according to reports.
The crash happened at about 8:34 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Kensington Avenue and Westmoreland Street in Kensington, according to Action News.
The girl, 12, was riding an electric scooter in that area when she was struck by a Hyundai Sonata that initially stopped, then drove off, Fox 29 reports.

Authorities found the vehicle about a half mile north, but did not find the driver.
The girl was taken to a hospital, where she is in critical condition.
