Tuesday marked National Log Cabin Day. Some of the most historic log cabins in the country are represented a very short drive from the heart of Phoenixville in Valley Forge National Historical Park. This cabin along Route 23 represents one of the cabins used by Gen. Lachland McIntosh, a close ally of George Washington during the winter at Valley Forge.
