Bad News for Monday's Commute: More Black Ice Overnight

Monday morning may be just as slippery as Sunday.

“Temperatures will fall below freezing again tonight,” the National Weather Service said Sunday. “Any water still on the roads will refreeze, creating icy conditions once again.”

Temperatures will fall into the 20s overnight, the NWS says.

Expect any untreated surfaces to freeze again, CBS says.

Luckily, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation have about 150 salt trucks working in the Philadelphia region on Sunday, the transportation authority said.

Temperatures will be in the 30s Monday, with wind gusts of up to 29 mph, the NWS said. With the wind chill, it will feel like it’s in the 20s, Accuweather said.
