Birchrunville Woman, 59, Dies After Battling Breast Cancer
Services are planned for Thursday in Phoenixville.

Susan E. (Holmes) Brouse, 59, of Birchrunville, passed away Saturday in Seasons Hospice at Phoenixville after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Mrs. Brouse was the loving wife of Jeffrey E. Brouse.
Born in Princeton, NJ, she was a daughter of the late David D. and Martha (Roope) Holmes.She worked as office manager and conveyancer for RE/MAX Mainline in Paoli. She loved spending time at her family vacation home on the Casco Bay in Brunswick, Maine. She also enjoyed gardening, music and reading, but her family and friends were the pinnacle of her life.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Brouse is survived by her siblings, Lisa, wife of Fran Murphy, of Waterport, NY and Charlie, husband of Jeri Holmes, of Fredericksburg, MD; mother-in-law, Nancy Brouse, of South Coventry; brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Kim Brouse, of Linfield; nieces and nephews, Erik, Lori, Jessie, Kara, Joshua and Christopher; and an unbelievably wonderful support team of doctors, nurses and friends. In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by a brother, John Holmes and step-mother, Nancy Holmes.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, on Thursday, July 11, 2013, at 11:00 a.m.
Visiting Hours will be from 9:30-11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Susan’s name to the Phoenixville Cancer Center, 824 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460. Condolences may be offered online at www.PhoenixvilleFuneralHome.com.
