Election Day In Phoenixville: When, Where To Vote
Tuesday is Election Day and polling places are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Tuesday is General Election day across Pennsylvania, with a historically contentious presidential race represented on our ballots, and three state races.
It's important to make sure you know where you are voting this year. Some polling places have changed due to the pandemic. If you're not sure where your polling place is, use this online tool to find out where to vote.
But local races matter to everyone, as our senators and representatives steer legislation and determine spending.

Here is an overview of who's on your ballot:
In Phoenixville, voters will weigh in on the race for Pennsylvania's 6th U.S. Congressional District, currently represented by Chrissy Houlahan (D-6th). Houlahan's seat is challenged by Republican John Emmons, with Independent candidate John McHugh also on the ballot.

Two districts in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives cross into Phoenixville, the 155th and the 157th House Districts.
Incumbent Rep. Melissa Schusterman (D-157th) seeks reelection in the 157th District. She is opposed by Republican Brian Walters. The two candidates responded to Patch's request to complete a candidate profile, and those can be read for Schusterman here and for Walters here.
PA House District 157 includes Phoenixville's East, Middle, and West Wards, Tredyffrin Township, Schuylkill Township, and Upper Providence Township.
In the 155th House District, Incumbent Rep. Danielle Friel Otten (D-155th) is challenged by Republican Michael Taylor. Friel Otten calls herself "a champion of working families and a clean energy future." Taylor says it is time "to move beyond partisanship and build a stronger tomorrow."
The 155th House District includes part of Phoenixville and Spring City, as well as East and West Brandywine townships, East Pikeland Township, Upper Uwchlan and Uwchlan townships, and West Vincent Township.
Pennsylvania's State Senate 19th District reaches into Phoenixville. The state senate seat held by Sen. Andy Dinniman (D-19th) since 2006 will be vacated with Dinniman's retirement.
Vying for the District 19 State Senate seat are Rep. Carolyn Comitta (D-156th) and Republican Kevin Runey. Senate District 19 covers a large and heavily populated section of Chester County, stretching from a portion of Phoenixville across much of the Route 30 corridor and southwest, to West Grove and Oxford.

Polls will open Tuesday, Nov. 3 at 7 a.m. Voters can cast ballots up until 8 p.m.
In addition to a vote for President of the United States, voters will select candidates in three state-level offices; Attorney General, Auditor General, and State Treasurer.
