The first full night of fun at the Kimberton Fair turned soggy just as the 2013 Kimberton Queen was being crowned.
No sooner did Lexi Keil learn she was the title winner than the skies opened up and the rain started coming down. Hundreds headed for their cars but other diehards headed into the animal competition buildings. It was just rain and no thunder or lightning so many trends and younger kids kept lining up for the rides.
The Kimberton Fair continues through Saturday. The proceeds benefit the Kimberton Volunteer Fire Company.
