Food Truck Festival Returns on Saturday

Parts of Bridge Street will be closed to traffic on May 2 as more than a dozen food trucks serve up delicious dishes.

With just a few days to go before Phoenixville’s Annual Restaurant Week begins on May 2, excitement is already building for the celebration of local food.

Before the week-long extravaganza can begin, though, organizers will whet the appetites with Saturday’s annual Food Truck Festival. Mobile eateries from all over the region will take over downtown Phoenixville as guests sample their finest menus.

The festival will close Bridge Street between the 100 and 200 blocks, with Main Street remaining open to traffic. The trucks will line Bridge Street, with seating and live music at the Bridge and Main street parking lot. The Food Truck Festival begins Saturday at noon. The Restaurant Week continues Sunday, May 3, ending on Thursday, May 7. Participating businesses will offer special prix-fixe menu items at $10, $25 and $35.
