Kimberton Fair and Much More in The Week Ahead

Get ready to have fun for a cause this week as the 85th Kimberton Fair opens Monday night on the Kimberton Fair Grounds adjacent to the Kimberton Fire Company. All proceeds from the fair benefit the Kimberton Fire Company.

According to the Fair's website: From 4-H Livestock competitions to Home Living Exhibits to Log Sawing, the Fair Queen Competition, a Baby Contest, plus great Food and Entertainment, its all happening at the Fair!

Here's the fair schedule for Monday, July 22, 2013

• 4:00 - 10:00 pm - Competitive Exhibits Building Open
• 6:00 pm - Closing - Fair Midway Open
  Mon - Fri Nightly Ride Wristband price is now $20
• 07:00 AM - Competitive Exhibits - Baking Contest entries check-in - Family Living Building - Baking Contest entries accepted from 7:00 - 8:30 am
• 08:00 AM - Dairy Goat Entries - Livestock Exhibit Bldg - Pre-registered entries check-in until 12:00 Noon
• 08:00 AM - Dairy Cattle Entries Check-In - Livestock Exhibit Bldg - Pre-registered entries check-in until 12:00 noon
• 10:30 AM - Baked Goods Judging - Home Arts Bldg - Closed to public during judging
• 05:30 PM - Dairy Goat Judging - Livestock Show Ring - Open to Public
• 06:45 PM - Radio Disney - Free Entertainment Stage - games, prizes & dancing for kids from 6:45-8:15 PM; sponsored by Underwriters Laboratories and Bottom Food Dollar
• 07:00 PM - Hogway Speedway Racing Pigs, Duck & Goats - Free Entertainment Stage - Shows at 7:00, 8:00 and 9:00 PM
• 07:30 PM - Opening Ceremony - Main Stage - Special guests and recognition of Special Fair Awards
• 08:00 PM - Baked Goods Auction - Main Stage - benefits Kimberton Fire Company

Also on Monday

All Day Philadelphia Eagles Training Camp starts. For the first time ever the training camp will be held at the team's Novacare Practice Facility in South Philadelphia.
Practice are open to the public. Tickets are required. Full details on the schedule, new Head Coach Chip Kelly and the team are on the official Eagles website.
