At Least 3 Killed in Crashes That Shuttered Schuylkill, Blue Route
Dozens more were injured in crashes caused by Sunday's icy conditions.

At least three people were killed Sunday in crashes being attributed to icy, slippery roads.
An accident involving 60 cars resulted in the closure of Interstate 76 in both directions in Montgomery County around 7 a.m. Sunday morning, 6ABC said.
At least one person was killed in the crash, which occurred between exits 337 and 332, NBC10 said, and at least 31 people were injured in the pileup, 6ABC said.

Eric Alan Blau of Philadelphia was killed in the pileup, The Philadelphia Inquirer said. Initial reports suggest that Blau exited his disabled vehicle and was struck by another vehicle, the Inquirer said.
All lanes of the Schuylkill Expressway reopened around 2:15 p.m., 6ABC said.

Two other people were killed in a crash on Interstate 476 near Marple Road in Delaware County, the Inquirer said. The crash shuttered all southbound lanes of the Blue Route for several hours Sunday, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said.
Thomas Michael Brennan of Lansdale and Jason Edward Anderson of Dover, Del., were identified as the victims, the Inquirer said.
The Walt Whitman, Betsy Ross and Ben Franklin bridges were all closed at various points Sunday, but had reopened by Sunday evening, the Delaware River Port Authority said.
PennDOT Tweeted that it had deployed 146 salt trucks to the region at 5 a.m. Sunday. The trucks remain out on the road, PennDOT said.
