New Phoenixville Borough Hall to Open Aug. 5
The $5.59 million construction project was completed in a little more than one year.

August 5 is the day Phoenixville Borough government will move into a new era in its new building on Bridge Street.
That's the word from Phoenixville Borough Manager Jean Krack who says the new building is on track to open on the first Monday of August.
Krack says the current building may have to close a few hours early on Friday, August 2 to accommodate the movers.
Borough officials broke ground on the new $5.59 million, 20,000 square foot building on June 18, 2012. It will be the new home to borough's administrations, police department, council and council chambers, police department and jail.
Borough officials say they will schedule an official grand opening event and tour of the building sometime soon after the move-in date.
