Norristown: Juneteeth Jubilee
The public is invited to attend the borough's Juneteenth celebration fromm 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

NORRISTOWN —Norristown’s Juneteenth Jubilee is scheduled from 11 a.m.to 5 p.m. Sunday, with a Charles L. Blockson exhibit opening exclusively at the Centre Theater.
Road closures are scheduled on DeKalb Street from Lafayette to Penn streets, and on Main Steet from Swede to Penn streets.
Parking is available in the Norristown Transportation Center, DeKalb and East Lafayette street, if your vehicle will pass clearance.

Here is the schedule:
- 11:00 a.m: Welcome to the Event, Introduce Harriet Tubman, Council President Thomas Lepera at Centre Theatre.
- 11:30 a.m. Reading of General’s Order – Alpha Representative at Dekalb and Main streets.
- 11:45 am Remarks before cutting ribbon – Council Vice President Heather Lewis at Dekalb and Main streets.

- 12:00 p.m. DJ Belly – plays music
- 1:00 p.m. Brief remarks - Introduce Expressive Paths – Municipal Administrator Crandall Jones.
- 1:40 p.m. Expressive Paths (3 students, 5 songs each, Life Every Voice
- 2:00 p.m. Brief remarks - Introduce Actual Proof – Angie Hinton (Stage) Greg Moore and Actual Proof (Jazz Band)
- 3:00 pm DJ Belly
