Phoenixville Fire Department Welcomes New Certified Firefighter
Patrick Amerson passed a firefigher 1 training program at the Mongomery County Department of Department of Public Safety Fire Academy.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA —Phoenixville Fire Department welcomes Patrick Amerson, who graduated recently from the Montgomery Department of Public Safety Fire School with 34 other recruits.
Amerson successfully completed a 188-hour, entry-level national certification course that firefighters are required to complete before going into a burning building.
Amerson moved to Phoenixville in 2019 and joined the department earlier this year.

“He worked diligently to complete the program in less than a year,” Fire Chief Eamon C. Brazunas said. “Congratulations and thank you for choosing to serve your community.”
The fire department has a mixture of paid and volunteer firefighters. The department is alway looking for new volunteers to serve as firefighters, fire police, medical responders or administration.
