Phoenixville Man Facing DUI Charges After Traffic Stop

A Phoenixville man has been charged with D.U.I. following a traffic stop early Sunday morning, East Pikeland Township Police said.

Around 3:15 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 18, officers observed a vehicle traveling on Route 23 with its tail lights out, police said. Officers stopped the vehicle at the entrance to the Shops at Valley Forge, and administered field sobriety tests to the driver, Peter Ottey 22, of the 900 block of Westridge Gardens Lane in Phoenixville. Ottey failed the field sobriety tests, police said.

Ottley was charged with driving under the influence and released pending a later hearing.
