Phoenixville Native, 45, Dies Unexpectedly

He died suddenly doing something he enjoyed.

 

Avid volleyball player and Phoenixville native Kenneth J. Malenke, 45, of Richmond, VA, formerly East Coventry, PA, passed away unexpectedly during a volleyball tournament on Saturday, May 18, in Virginia Beach, VA, according to an obituary on Legacy.com.

According to the obituary he "was a 1985 graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School, Pottstown, PA, and received his B.A. in Business and Accounting from Juniata College in 1989."

"He was an active volleyball player and had in interest in golf and NASCAR. In addition to his parents, Kenneth is survived by his son, Jackson Wyatt Malenke of Richmond, VA; his former wife and friend, Ellen (Fulmer) Malenke of Richmond, VA, and aunts and cousins," the obituary notes.
