Phoenixville Police Log: June 12 to 26

Police arrested several suspects on charges of simple assault, public drunkenness and public urination from June 12 to 26.

PHOENIXVILLE — Borough police charges a half dozen suspects with public drunkeness, public urination and simple assault this month.

  • A 29-year-old Phoenixville man was arrested June 18 for public drunkenness after staggering into buildings and then the middle of the Unit block of Gay Street.
  • A 28-year-old Phoenixville man was arrested June 21 for public drunkenness when he was observed lying on his back in a driveway, not moving in the 100 block of W. Phoenix Drive.
  • A 29- year old Mont Clare man was arrested June 25 for public drunkenness after he was found sitting in a chair unable to stand up on his own in the 200 block of Bridge Street.
  • A 21-year-old Philadelphia man was cited June 18 for public urination after urinating in the 100 block of Bridge Street.
  • A 63-year-old Collegeville man was cited June 24 for public urination in the 300 block of Taylor Alley.
  • Anthony Lasorda, 66, of Phoenixville is free on $10,000 bail awaiting a preliminary hearing on charges of simple assault and disorderly conduct. Police said Lasorda was involved in a physical altercation on June 26 in the Unit block of Cromby Road.
