Police Log: Public Drunkenness & Public Urination Are Reported In July

PHOENIXVILLE, PA—Phoenixville police report three public drunkeness cases, four public urination and only one drunken driving case in July.

Public Drunkenness

• On July 26, a 53 year-old-male of Elverson was arrested for public drunkenness, disorderly conduct, and harassment after causing a disturbance inside a business in the 100 block of Bridge Street.
• On July 31, a 22 year old male of Limerick was arrested for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness when he was observed urinating in the 200 block of Bridge Street. The male subject attempted to run away from officers but was unsuccessful.
• On Aug. 5th, a 23 year old male of Malvern was arrested for Public Drunkenness after he was found lying partially under a parked vehicle in the 100 block of Church Street.

Public Urination

• On July 30th, 2022, a 21-year-old male of Limerick was cited for public urination and Littering after throwing trash into the front lawn of a property in the unit block of N. Main Street. When Officers caught up with the subject to discuss where to properly throw trash away he was then also urinating in public.
• On July 30th, 2022, a 24 year old male of Warminster, PA was cited for public urination for urinating in the 200 block of Price Street.
• On July 31th, 2022, a 21 year old male of Chadds Ford, PA was cited for public urination for urinating in the 100 block of Bridge Street.
• On August 6th, 2022, a 24 year old male of Pottstown, PA was cited for public urination when he was found urinating on his friends car in the 300 block of Taylor Alley.

Drunken Driving

The following individuals were arrested and charged with drunken driving:
