SCHOOL WEATHER ALERT: How the Storm Will Impact Phoenixville

With a snow storm fast approaching Wednesday, Phoenixville Area School District have decided to cancel all after-school and evening activities Wednesday, Jan. 21, district officials announced.

School will dismiss at the regular time, the district said, adding that after-school care through Magic Memories and the Phoenixville YMCA will run as scheduled.

“Please be safe,” the district said.

Snow is expected to fall after 2p.m. Wednesday following a period of cold weather -- both of which could make a mess of the afternoon afternoon and evening commutes.
