Slots Revenue Up Nearly 6% in December, But Down From 2013

A total of $2,393,105,959.08 was wagered at Pennsylvania slot machines in December.

Slots revenue at Pennsylvania casinos was up nearly 6 percent last month, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has announced, but overall revenue from 2014 was down 2.71 percent compared with 2013.

A total of $2,393,105,959.08 was wagered at Pennsylvania slot machines in December, the GCB said, with a revenue of $188,426,685.51. Revenue was up 5.8 percent over November 2014, the GCB said.

Total revenue for 2014 was $2,319,534,380, the GCB said, down 2.7 percent from 2013, when gross revenue totaled $2,384,098,225.
