Dr. Don Meyer was one of the honorees at the Phoenixville Chamber of Commerce's annual awards dinner.

The Phoenixville Chamber of Commerce honored University of Valley Forge President Dr. Don Meyer as its outstanding citizen of the year during its annual awards dinner at the Phoenixville Country Club earlier this month.
The March 18 banquet recognized members of the community who dedicate countless hours to volunteer projects and community improvements.
The sold out event included a cocktail hour, dinner, a State of the Chamber address, and an awards presentation for the eight recipients. The chamber presented a $500 check sponsored by Welsh Subaru of Limerick to Communities in Motion to support its work in the community.
