Once a month, this group reads a book from Lauren Tarshis’s “I Survived…” series, short historical fiction books that cover major natural and man-made disasters and events throughout history.
At the meeting, we discuss the book and do an activity related to the topic.
This month we will be discussing I Survived: the Great Molasses Flood, 1919, and doing a viscosity experiment.
This monthly book club is for children in grades 3-5.
You may pick up a copy of the book for check-out at the children's circulation desk.
