Alleged Lower Frederick Twp Shooter In Police Custody

UPDATE Aug. 25, 2011 12:50 a.m. - Report that alleged shooter has been arrested. 

UPDATE Aug. 25, 2011 12:34 a.m. - A source familiar with the ongoing investigation said the alleged shooter, tentatively identified as Steve Jacobs, has been apprehended by police.

UPDATE Aug. 25, 2011 12:30 a.m. - Police have descended on a home near Fulmer Road and Riverside Ave. in Lower Frederick Township after reports that at least one victim was shot and an armed suspect was barricaded inside the building.

One unidentified shooting victim is confirmed and was taken to an area hospital, Lower Frederick police officer Roland Walker said.

A SWAT team surrounded the house.

State, local and county police are also at the scene.

The suspect remains at large.

Aug. 25, 2011: An armed person is barricaded on Fulmer Road in Lower Frederick Township, police said late Wednesday night.

One person was shot and taken to the hospital, Lower Frederick police officer Roland Walker said.  

Police are on the scene and the suspect remains at large.
