• Pottsgrove Manor, 1000 West King Street, Pottstown, will host an informative walking tour from the Manor to the Riverfront Park along the Schuylkill River. The walk will begin at Pottsgrove Manor at 11 a.m. and will conclude at the site at 2 p.m. on Sept. 24.

• The Gallery on High - Gallery School of Pottstown, 254 E High St, Pottstown, will host a community yard sale from 8 a.m. to noon Sept. 24. Proceeds benefit the non-profit Gallery School.

• The Brick House will host: End Of The Summer Luau -- an island theme party that will include contests and prizes for patrons over age 21. A DJ will play island mix music beginning at 10 p.m. Sept. 24.

• Cedarville United Methodist Church will host a Honey Festival that will include a display of active honeybees in a clear observation hive, honey products, master gardeners and beekeepers. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 24, rain or shine at Cedarville United Methodist Church, 1092 Laurelwood Road, North Coventry Township. Directions to the church are listed at www.cedarvilleumc.org.

• Men In Spikes - 2011 will be held at 1:15 p.m. Sept. 24. The event will include men that wear high-heeled shoes and run relay races and raise money for charity.
