Investigation Continues After Teenage Girl Shot During Montco Fight
Police are continuing to investigate after a fight between several young girls ended in gunfire.
POTTSTOWN, PA — An investigation remains underway after a fight in Pottstown this week ended with a child being shot.
The incident occurred at around 7:30 p.m.on Myrtle Street in Pottstown's Bright Hope community, an apartment complex less than a mile from Route 100.
It's not clear what started the melee, but several girls were involved, police said.

At some point, a shot was fired and a 14-year-old girl was hit in the chest, according to authorities.
The child was taken to a nearby hospital where she remains receiving treatment.
