Representatives from Pottstown Memorial Medical Center recently visited Franklin Elementary School.

From Pottstown School District Director of Community Relations John J. Armato:

The employees of the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center know just what elementary students need to be able to do their homework so they will be prepared for their classroom lessons.

Recently Marian Lippert and Denise Connolly represented the employees of PMMC and delivered the proper dose of school supplies to students at Franklin Elementary School.

They came with numerous boxes of school supplies including pencils, pens, markers, crayons, paper, scissors, folders, student backpacks, notebooks, and much more.

The students could barely contain their enthusiasm as teachers helped to distribute some of the supplies.

“It is rewarding when you can see how much the students and staff at Franklin Elementary School appreciate the supplies and know that students will have the classroom materials needed for success,” Lippert said.

Franklin Principal Mia DiPaolo was grateful to the employees of PMMC.

“The foundations for quality adult citizens are developed at young ages," she said. "With PMMC’s assistance, our students will have the needed tools to become the leaders of tomorrow.”
