More Water For Pottstown
AccuWeather.com predicts the area will get another soaking over the next couple days.

It's hard to believe was one of the driest areas in the state for the month of July.
In contrast, the borough received roughly 18 inches of rain since August 1.
Today, AccuWeather.com predicts another 1.54 inches of water will blanket the area.

"Philadelphia and New York City are within reach of surpassing 30 inches of rain for the two-month period ending Sept. 30. Additional rain will fall on these cities and others through the end of the month," AccuWeather.com Expert Senior Meteorologist Alex Sosnowski reported today. "Many locations have the potential to reach or exceed 2 feet of rain for the two-month period, including Harrisburg, Lancaster, Mount Pocono, Reading, Scranton, Selinsgove and York in Pennsylvania, Binghamton, N.Y., Wilmington, Del. and Trenton and Wrightstown in New Jersey.
On Thursday, Tom Kines, AccuWeather.com senior meteorologist, said a tropical air mass was making its way toward Pottstown.

That mass brought rain to the area, which is not welcome news for an already saturated Pottstown.
"Normally, we should have had a little over seven inches of rain," he said. "We've had about two and a half times the normal amount of rain."
