Package Thefts Impacting Montgomery Co. Communities: Police
The incidents bear similarities to other thefts earlier in the year.
NEW HANOVER TOWNSHIP, PA — A string of package thefts has impacted another community in Montgomery County, authorities said.
The latest incidents occurred on Oct. 18 in New Hanover Township, and bear similarities to thefts in Collegeville and elsewhere.
Packages were stolen from the front porch of homes shortly after delivery in the afternoon.

They contained mobile phones from AT&T and were shipped via FedEx, police said.
Thieves used a 2011 or 2012 black Honda Accord, which had tinted windows, according to authorities.

At this point, despite the similarities to other incidents in Montgomery County, it remains unclear if the New Hanover cases involved the same suspects.
