Pilot Identified As New Information Released In Eastern PA Plane Crash
The pilot is a board member of a local private charter jet service, the company confirmed.

LANCASTER COUNTY, PA — The pilot of the plane that crashed in eastern Pennsylvania over the weekend was a board member of a private, locally-based private aircraft charter service called Venture Jets, the company said in a statement.
The board member, Matt White, was traveling with his family to Springfield, Ohio, multiple media reports also confirmed, including PennLive and WGAL.
All five people on the plane were injured and three were hospitalized, but authorities indicated that the injuries were minor.

Venture Jets is based in Lititz, which is about nine miles north of where the plane took off from at Lancaster Airport.

The crash occurred at about 3:15 p.m. on Sunday shortly after takeoff. The cause remains unknown, and the FAA and NTSB are continuing to investigate.
The single-engine Beechcraft A36TC, which seats six people, went down in the parking lot of the Brethren Village retirement community where it sparked a large fire that engulfed several vehicles.
The FAA's preliminary report classified the crash as an "accident," though very few other details were made available.
Venture Jets provides special charter flights and emergency medical flights, including organ transport and related "critical missions," according to their website.
