🌱 POTTSTOWN DAILY: Everything Going On Today (Fri, Oct 29)
Check out the latest edition of the Pottstown Daily! Here's your five-minute guide to all things going on in town.
Good morning, Pottstown! Let's get this day started with some good news.
The Pottstown High School National Honor Society this week recognized more than two dozen young men and women for their leadership, academic achievement and citizenship. A PHS ceremony on Wednesday was a double recognition ceremony for this year's students and those who qualified last year but did not have an opportunity for a formal ceremony due to Covid restrictions.
A candle-lighting ceremony recognized the four pillars of National Honor Society: scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Principal Danielle McCoy congratulated students and reminded them that their present success — and future success — is built on the Trojan principle that hard work pays off. Director of Human Resources Matthew Boyer encouraged students to live a life of integrity.
This year the chapter celebrated the 87th consecutive year of Pottstown High School National Honor Society membership. See the PHS post and photo at the bottom of this Digest.
