🌱 POTTSTOWN DAILY: What You Need To Know Today (Fri, Nov. 12)
Welcome to the Pottstown Daily! Here's a 5-minute guide to what's up in Pottstown and a link to the first marking period honor roll.

Hello, Pottstown! Welcome to this edition of the Pottstown Daily.
Here's a bright piece of Pottstown news to start:
A day in the life of Pottstown High School early childhood education students means learning skills and developing attitudes that will lead to success in the workplace. Their teacher, Naimah Rhodes, reported that Tuesday morning's focus was children’s books. Every Tuesday a different student will read a children's book to the class. This allows for students to grow their knowledge of children's books and gain mastery of their reading skills. After each student reads, their peers provide constructive feedback about their performance, Rhodes explained.

After that, students finish their step-by-step drawing presentations. "My level II students had to create a simple drawing and present it to the class while only providing oral instructions. Not only was this activity hilarious and super fun, but it showed the students how important it is to have thorough, clear, and simple procedures when writing lesson plans. This activity was also a great exercise for working on listening skills. The students squatting down in each picture were the teachers for that specific drawing," said Rhodes.
Thanks for all you do, Ms. Rhodes, and kudos to the early childhood education students.
