Pottstown's Catholic Republicans Are Invited to Brunch

Supporters for Gov. Mitt Romney and Vice Presidential Candidate Paul Ryan will host an open brunch this morning. State Representative Mike Vereb (R-Montgomery-150) will be present at the brunch today hosted by the Catholics for Romney/Ryan. Brunch will be hosted at 10 a.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 675 Constitution Ave., Stowe.

According to the National Catholic Register, Ryan recently released a video directed at Catholic voters. He said that "religious-liberty protections will be a cornerstone of the Romney/Ryan administration."

“We need a president who will support our God-given rights, not try to circumvent them,” Ryan said in an Oct. 2 video posted to the Romney campaign website. The video is included in this story.
