Pottstown's Pop Art Guru To Display New Work

The work of James Enders will be featured at several upcoming art shows including a display at MOSAIC in Pottstown.

 

The latest work by Pop Art Guru includes a granite sculpture he calls "Indian Chief."

From his workspace, "Studio 217 Gallery" on East High Street in Pottstown, Enders recently discussed his plans to appear at several local art shows -- including one this month at  -- and in California this summer.

He also said he plans to donate several of his paintings -- some he'll create while at fund-raisers -- to charity. 

"I'm doing stuff locally but thinking globally," Enders said. "The bigger I get, the more I feel it's my duty to pay it forward."

Enders, who grew up in California as a skateboarder, said the sport influences his work.

"What my art kind of reflects is the skateboarding and graffiti," he said.
