Prevent Cyber Bullying

A discussion will include ideas to protect children from cyber bullying and a question and answer session with an expert.

Cyber bullying will be the topic at Parent Information Night next month.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Oct. 6 at Rupert Elementary School, 1250 South Street in Pottstown.

Theresa Cox, Community Education Programs Supervisor at Victim Services Center of Montgomery County, will lead the program, which will also include:

• an explanation of cyber bullying

• consequences of bullying

• how to prevent cyber bullying

• signs of cyber bullying

• what to do if your child is being cyber bullied

Prior to the meeting, the district's PTA will meet at the 5:30 p.m. at Pottstown Regional Public Library.
