Schuylkill River Trail Work Among Pottstown Improvement Projects
Several construction projects are slated for Pottstown this spring, including work to improve Riverfront Park.
POTTSTOWN, PA — Several major construction projects are on tap in Pottstown this coming spring, including improvements to Riverfront Park adjacent to the Schuylkill River Trail.
The park will undergo embankment restoration along the river, as well as improvements to the pedestrian bridge.
The western portion of the SRT will not be accessible while work is ongoing, and signage will be posted at park entrances. Work is slated to begin in early March, with no exact completion date yet announced.

In addition, Memorial Park will see a new pedestrian bridge to link both sides of the park, and new play areas will be added to Chestnut Street Park.
The latter two projects are slated to begin in April.
