Teen Hit by Vehicle on High Street
A 16-year-old male was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital after he was struck by a vehicle while trying to cross High Street. His current condition is unknown at this time.

A 16-year-old male was taken by ambulance to Lehigh Valley Hospital on Wednesday afternoon, after he was struck by a vehicle while trying to cross High Street in Pottstown.
According to a report by the Pottstown Mercury, the teen was attempting to cross High Street near the intersection of High and Franklin Streets around 4 p.m., when he was struck by a green Honda sedan with such force that he was knocked out of his shoes. The report states that the victim sustained injuries to his face and leg, but was seen moving his legs while he was being placed onto a gurney

The teen's identity has not been released, and his current condition is unknown.
The driver of the vehicle immediately stopped following the accident, and the Mercury's report states that police said the driver will not be charged.
