• The Gallery School of Pottstown from 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 20 and 27 will present Introduction To Encaustics with Jeff Margraf. Students will learn to paint with wax using a variety of encaustic techniques. Cost is $110 plus materials for members, $125 plus materials for non-member.
• The Upper Montgomery Conference of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Synod of The Women of The Evangelical Lutheran Church of America will be held Oct. 15 at St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church of Pottstown, 1101 E. High St. Registration starts at 9 a.m. and the program begins at 9:30 a.m. Coffee and breakfast goodies will be available. Each church is asked to bring one plate of goodies to share.
