West Pottsgrove Teen A Hit-and-Run Victim
Matt Coutts will undergo surgery after a Friday-night hit-and-run in Philadelphia.

According to a news report by NBC 10, an student was sent to the hospital after an alleged hit-and-run incident took place in Philadelphia on the evening of March 30.
Matt Coutts, 15, of West Pottsgrove, was riding his skateboard with friends heading eastbound at the 200 block of Tomlinson Road in Northeast Philadelphia. At around 9:45 p.m., according to the report, a mini-van traveling westbound struck him and a friend riding a bicycle. The boys were taken to a nearby hospital.

On Monday, Coutts will undergo surgery at Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia for injuries sustained in the incident.
According to police, the mini-van was a Silver Honda Odyssey, which may also have extensive front-end damage.
