Actors to Perform Live at the Gryphon Saturday

Come at 7 p.m. to watch live monologues, one-acts and short scenes.

The Gryphon Cafe is hosting actors of the Organic Acting Academy in Wayne on Saturday night.

The acting students will be performing monologues, one-acts, short scenes and original works in progress for the audience.

Performances start at 7 p.m.

In June, Bryan Fox opened the Organic Acting Academy, where he holds classes for children, teens and adults in addition to acting analysis and audition help,  at 107 W. Lancaster Ave., Suite 204 in Wayne.

Fox, who grew up in Berwyn, has worked in LA and New York, but has returned to the Main Line to instruct everyone from novices to professionals.

He can help actors prepare audition tapes or prepare people for job interviews with interview simulation sessions.

Fox is also developing an after-school program for teenagers, who he says do not always get to explore acting at school, where parts in school plays can be very limited.
