Delco Man Arrested In Radnor Vehicle Break-Ins

Radnor police say he stole more than $600 in cash and other items from 10 vehicles in the St. Davis section of town.

Radnor police arrested a Ridley Park man over the weekend for allegedly breaking into vehicles in the St. Davids section and stealing cash and items.

Steve Rowcroft, 31, has been charged with 50 counts, including 10 felony thefts from vehicles and misdemeanors inlcuding receiving stolen property and possessing an instrument of crime.

According to police, officers responded to the St. Davids neighborhood on March 31 for a report of a total of 10 thefts from vehicles. The report said investigators gathered evidence and matched fingerprints to Rowcroft, who has a criminal record of burglarizing vehicles. Police say he recently gotten a job in Radnor located near the incidents.

Detectives say Rowcroft admitted to the thefts during an interview, saying he stole more than $600 in cash and other items. Rowcroft was taken into custody at the Radnor Police station for a probation violation and is awaiting his preliminary hearing.
