Fenimore Woods Improvement Project Underway In Radnor

RADNOR, PA— The Fenimore Woods Park improvement planning process is underway in Radnor Township.
The public is invited to participate in a Parks & Recreation Board community meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, in the township building at 301 Iven Ave., Wayne, to discuss the project.
Fenimore Woods is an 11.5-acre park at 1194 Eagle Road, Wayne.

All previous plans are no longer being considered.
A new feasibility study was presented at a board meeting in July by the engineering firm, Gannett Fleming, Inc., Audubon. It is available to review here.

According to the proposal, the estimated cost for the exterior upgrades project is $834,000. The estimated costs for gathering space and restrooms is $1.3 million
The park provides a playground, a picnic area, a 3-acre ponds, a walking train and restrooms.
