Police Log: Radnor Township

Police reports a burglary of undetermine items at Boyd's Store, which recently opened in Wayne, and several other thefts.


RADNOR. TWP. —A burglar broke into Boyd Wayne, 201 W. Lancaster Ave. at 10:50 p.m. Monday, through a broken rear window carrying a large amount of undetermined merchandise, police reported Tuesday.

Police said the actor then entered a red sedan and fled the area north on Bellevue Ave.
The luxury retailer opened a store in September in 1931 Art Deco building that was the home of the E.B. Maguire Ford dealership that later became the world’s first Anthropologie store.

  • Theft: A resident of the 11000 block of Countyline Road reported a theft Friday, Oct. 14 of a seat cushion from a front porch. The suspect is wearing a gray hoodie, and was last seen pushing a shopping cart.
  • Retail Theft: A thief stole several Canadian Geese jackets on Friday, Oct. 14 from TJ Maxx Store, 550 E. Lancaster Ave. Police said the actor left the store operating a U-Haul Sprinter van and has committed thefts at other TJ Maxx stores in the area.
  • Mail Theft: A resident in the 500 block of Highland Court determined on Thursday Oct. 13 that they never received a package that was mailed to their resident. According to UPS it was delivered on Sept. 8.
