Radnor Hits the Boards with Summer Theatre Program
The school district will host a program presented by the Philadelphia Young Playwrights for students 12 to 18 years old.

Registration is open until April 30 for budding Radnor writers and performers interested in joining the school district’s new summer theatre program.
Supported by the Radnor Education Foundation and presented by the Philadelphia Young Playwrights, the program will consist of two sessions held at Radnor Middle School in July and August. Students between the ages of 12 and 18 years old can attend one session for $200 or both sessions for $375.
The first two-week session, Creating Theater Together, runs Monday through Thursday from July 13 to 23, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The class uses playwriting, improvisation, and devising to create a performance piece as a group. A presentation of the final show will be presented July 23 at 6:30 p.m.

The second two-week session, Creating Plays Independently, runs Monday through Thursday from August 3 to 13, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The class develops playwriting for individuals or two-person teams. Parts of the developed plays will be performed for friends and family August 13 at 6:30 p.m.
